Choose the default due date for new invoices, and set up the terms and conditions that go on your estimates and invoices.

Set the default due date

Note: The default due date applies to new invoices. It's calculated when an invoice moves to Open, and you can change it on an individual invoice.

  1. Open settings. On web, select your name at the bottom of the sidebar, then Settings. In the mobile app, on Home, select the account icon (the circle of dots) in the upper-right corner.

  2. Select Estimates & invoices.

  3. Under Due date, choose Due on receipt, Net 7, Net 14, or Net 30. In the mobile app, the first option is labeled On receipt.

Edit terms and conditions

  1. In Estimates & invoices, review Enable terms and conditions.

  2. Choose Estimates or Invoices to see their terms.

  3. Select Edit terms and conditions to open the editor.

Use terms approved for your business. Documents you've already sent keep the terms they were sent with.
